Hi! I'm Katie

Iโ€™m an artist and illustrator who is inspired by the beauty of nature and all things cute and whimsical. I have been working professionally as an illustrator for 5+ years and I opened my art and stationery shop, Fun Gal Studio, in 2022.

My Work

I work with a variety of mixed mediums, using everything from gouache, to coloured pencils and pastels, to markers, as well as digital art methods (never AI).

The three words that best describe my work are warmth, wonder, and whimsy.

Client Work and Commissions

I have worked with clients on projects including but not limited to custom greeting cards and sticker sheets, illustrations of historical structures and buildings, portrait commissions (typically families, pets, or couples), and music video backgrounds.

Art & Stationery Goods

I have been a life long stationery lover and using my art pieces to create products like stickers, greeting cards, bookmarks, and postcards is one of the most fulfilling things I get to do.

My products are made through a mix of methods: some are manufactured by local printers while others are made entirely by me in my home studio. Quality products from ethical sources with minimal environmental impact are extremely important values for me and my brand.

I also sell art prints of my work and occasionally original artworks on paper, canvas, or painted clay pieces.
